Interim President, eBay Enterprise
Tobias Hartmann is Interim President, eBay Enterprise. He joined eBay Enterprise from D+S GmbH, a leading European customer management group offering customer service, billing solutions and end-to-end ecommerce services, where he served as the chief operating officer of D+S, a position he held since 2005. Prior to his role with D+S GmbH, he was with Loyalty Partner GmbH serving as a member of the Management Board, and he was part of creating Europe's leading loyalty platform with more than 30 million participating cardholders. He oversaw Loyalty Partner's brand management, database marketing, customer service and fulfillment operations, IT, account management and rewards program. His experience also includes working for international top management consultancy firm Roland Berger Strategy Consultants in France and Germany.
Paul Cataldo is vice president and general counsel of eBay Enterprise. Cataldo has served in a variety of positions within eBay Enterprise's legal department for the past 12 years. Prior to joining eBay Enterprise, Cataldo practiced law with the Philadelphia-based law firm of Blank Rome LLP.
Steve Denton is vice president, eBay Enterprise Marketing Solutions. Denton joined eBay Enterprise in 2010 as the president of eBay Enterprise Media and was most recently responsible for leading the company's display, retargeting and performance marketing organizations, including FetchBack and PepperJam Exchange. Denton has more than 13 years of digital media experience and has been successfully helping retailers and ecommerce companies for the past 20 years acquire and maintain customers using technology and services as an effective and efficient way to grow their businesses. Prior to joining eBay Enterprise, Denton served as the president of Rakuten LinkShare and has held leadership positions at FedEx, Pepsi and Cross Commerce Media.
Finance & Accounting
Phillip DePaul joined eBay Enterprise as chief financial officer in September 2012. As a veteran of the eBay Inc. family since 2008, DePaul was Chief Accounting Officer responsible for leading eBay's global accounting and shared services organizations. Most recently, DePaul led PayPal's global finance functions and provided financial oversight for PayPal's operations, technology and marketing teams. Prior to joining eBay Inc., DePaul worked in various finance, controller and audit roles at Ernst & Young LLP and OfficeMax.
Enterprise Sales & Client Services
Scott Hardy is vice president, eBay Enterprise Sales and Client Services. Prior to eBay Enterprise, Hardy led the consumer markets segment in the Americas at BearingPoint, Inc., a global management and technology consulting company, where he oversaw some of its largest commercial engagements in areas such as business transformation, customer management, and merchandising. He has also held posts as vice president at The Garr Consulting Group, a subsidiary of Deloitte & Touche, LLP, and Camco Paints/Wallpaper Atlanta.
Marketing & Communications
Mark Kirschner is vice president, chief marketing officer, eBay Enterprise. Most recently, Kirschner was vice CMO, Executive Officer for global marketing and communications at Rakuten Inc. Before that, he ran global marketing, product management and public relations as CMO of Rakuten LinkShare. Kirschner brings over 25 years of experience in marketing, ecommerce and product management with technology and media companies. This includes global brands such as Scholastic, Walt Disney Co., Learningsmith, MTV/Viacom and NEC.
Product & Strategy
Mark Lavelle is senior vice president global product, eBay Enterprise and the general manager of its mid-market and SMB business unit, including Magento. Lavelle has held a number of leadership positions within eBay, including SVP of strategy and business development for both eBay Inc. and PayPal, and co-founded Bill Me Later, acquired by eBay in 2008. With more than 15 years of internet, commerce and payments experience, Lavelle's background includes successfully developing and executing global product strategies, major internet partnerships, acquisitions and joint ventures, and startup fundraising, investing and advising.
Brent Peters joined eBay Enterprise as chief technology officer in April 2013. As CTO, Brent is responsible for developing eBay Enterprise's Enterprise Commerce Platform and driving the innovations for future versions of the company's flagship product. He also leads development of eBay Enterprise's mobile capabilities and deeper integration with Magento, Marketplaces, PayPal, and other eBay Inc. assets. Brent joined eBay Enterprise from IBM, where he spent more than 20 years leading large teams in software development and technical strategy. At IBM, he led organizations such as WebSphere, Lotus, and most recently within IBM GTS, he was responsible for the development of IBM SmartCloud Enterprise+.
Delivery Service & Technical Operations
Mark Trout is head of delivery service and technical operations, eBay Enterprise. He joined eBay Enterprise in 2012 with a focus on transformation of the company's business, technology and client delivery services. Trout joined eBay Enterprise from Accenture, a global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company, where he most recently served as managing partner for the Electronics and High Tech Industry Technology Group. Previously, Trout served as the managing partner of Accenture's Pacific Region High Tech Consulting Practice, providing focused client service. Trout brings more than 25 years of client service and technology delivery to eBay Enterprise, including an extensive background in the development and delivery of major systems platforms with leading high-tech companies. His background is instrumental to providing exceptional client focus and delivery of service, and for leading many of eBay Enterprise's most important company-wide initiatives.
Terri Zandhuis is vice president of human resources for eBay Enterprise. She joined in April 2012 from Bank of America where she most recently led the global HR technology and operations team, supporting more than 75,000 employees across the globe. Previously, Zandhuis held HR leadership positions within the financial services and consulting sectors including with Goldman Sachs, Bankers Trust and Hewitt Associates.
